low back pain, chiropractic, chiropractor

My first experience with true low back pain came just after graduating from chiropractic college. At this point, I had treated dozens of cases of low back pain, but not really experienced it myself. WOW!

After playing rugby for a decade, nothing compared to the intensity of this pain. The pain came on quick, all of a sudden, out of no where and brought me to my knees! I started avoiding certain movements, worried about how I was going to be able to sit down, which was a huge struggle, and dreaded the thought of having to get back up again. I hadn’t started my practice yet, but I was riddled with anxiety about how this affected my life now, but also, what would it be like if this happened WHILE I was working.

Sound familiar to you? There are a variety of reasons you could be having low back pain, but more than likely the underlying issue didn’t JUST occur and may be a problem that has been working it’s way to the surface. Chiropractic care is an excellent source for decreasing pain in the low back. In my practice the #1 complaint I see is neck pain/headaches, followed by low back pain at #2. This isn’t a problem you have to live with. Stop “dealing with it” and schedule an appointment today!

How can we help decrease your low back pain? A variety of methods are used, it depends on what is causing the pain. Most commonly, manipulation to the low back and/or hips, dry needling, core training exercises and repetitve movements usually do the trick!
