Dr. Yacey Young is a native of Great Bend, KS. While in high school she was a multi-sport athlete.

She continued on to Barton County CC on a soccer scholarship and was a two year starter at goalkeeper for the Cougars.

When she wasn't on the field, she was in the athletic training room helping other athletes achieve their greatness. In 2006, Dr. Young moved to Lawrence to attend the University of Kansas and has called it home ever since. While finishing her sports management program she interned for the KU Women's soccer team. In 2009, after graduating from KU, she spent her time working and playing two newly found sports, rugby and kickball.

Several years later she decided to go back to school to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baker University and her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Cleveland University-KC. Dr. Young still remains a two sport athlete, although they are the lesser contact sports of pickleball and kickball.

Dr. Young knows the anguish of the body aging, getting out of shape, and getting back into shape.

She also knows the limitations and dark cloud that hangs over chronic pain sufferers.
